Trinidad and Tobago offers a different type of Caribbean vacations. These twin islands were once part of South America and so they have wildlife and species of plants that are found on that continent. These two islands complement each other well. Trinidad the larger and louder of the two offers something different. Of course both of these islands are blessed with beautiful white sand beaches and wonderful climate which is mostly dry. Trinidad has a wealth of historical sites that will allow you to delve into the country’s history.  Being an important producer of rum, visiting a distillery could enhance your sojourn there.
Tobago 23 miles away from its twin sister is more laid back and probable more suited for vacations.  Think about fine sandy beach concealed in coves along the coast. Think about thick forested mountainous interior, facilitating great eco-tourism.  This is a Caribbean island in its purity that is reminiscent of the Caribbean 30 years ago.
Trinidad and Tobago is a great place for vacation.  The cuisine is rooted in Caribbean, South America and India. In fact 50% of Trinidad’s populations have Indian ancestors plus the closeness to Venezuela influences its cuisine immensely.
If you have decided to visit these twin islands it was a good choice. The beaches of Tobago are unmatched and bird-watching in their natural habitat is world famous. Golfing, deep sea, shore fishing, sailing and hiking you name it, Trinidad and Tobago have it all.
