Anguilla vacations are somewhat different from holidaying on the other Caribbean islands. This is an island that still doesn’t lose its core value as a natural island paradise. It is the most northerly islands in the Lesser Antilles east of Puerto Rico and just 20 minutes away from St. Martin on a ferry. Anguilla is only 26 km long by 5 km wide with a population of 13,500 people. The landscape is mainly flat with the highest point being Crocus Hill which rises to 65 meters.

Nightlife in Anguilla is centered mainly at various hotels, especially in winter when they host barbecues, West Indian parties with singers and other musicians. The hotels hire calypso combo groups and music bands, both local and imported from other islands. Also the island of Anguilla has some wonderful beach bars and grills, which serve great food and drink and feature live music at least one day a week.

Anguilla’s vacations offer a wide range of water sports, such as parasailing, windsurfing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Swimming with the dophins, go shore-or deep-sea fishing are also other wonderful options among other things. This is a place for total relaxation and getting away from the glitter and glamour.
